Hey there! I am Maria Mease certified Doula CD (DONA) and Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) based in Southeast Brooklyn, New York with a passion for supporting families through the birthing process and beyond. I provide comprehensive doula services encompassing pregnancy, labor, postpartum and lactation support. My approach is rooted in faith, empathy, education, and empowerment, ensuring that every family I work with feels informed, supported, and confident during this transformative time.
How It All Started?
My Journey to Becoming...
A doula began with a deep love for helping others through their pregnancies. I've always been fascinated by the physical, emotional, and spiritual transformations that occur during this miraculous period. However, it wasn't until my own pregnancy that I truly realized the importance of advocacy.

​During my pregnancy, I faced various challenges and moments of uncertainty. This transformative experience highlighted the crucial need for support. At a meeting with Dr. Hoang, a compassionate neonatologist, I was encouraged to become a doula. Her suggestion resonated deeply with me and led me to enroll in the DONA International Doula training program. From the moment I started, I knew I was where I needed to be.​​
My postpartum period further emphasized the significance of holistic care. The support from my loved ones, combined with my faith in Jesus Christ helped me navigate new motherhood. This experience reinforced my belief that incorporating God into this journey is essential. Birth is not just a physical process; it's a profound spiritual experience. As a doula, I strive to be a partner in this journey, supporting families from pregnancy through birth and beyond.
